Rules, Standards & Class Expectations

At NAB, our ballet classes are designed to enhance strength, alignment, control, artistry, musicality, spatial awareness and long-term performance ability.

Every detail of this class, structure, pacing, etiquette, and expectations exists for a reason.

We are training the next generation of disciplined, respectful, and high-level dancers.

We are a welcoming and supportive environment, but professionalism, presence, and mutual respect are mandatory.
Failure to follow these standards may result in removal from class.

  • 1. Classroom Entry & Presence

Students wait quietly outside the studio until invited in by the instructor
Enter the space with focus, awareness, and intention
If music is playing and class is in progress, students will wait at the door until acknowledged by the teacher
Late or disruptive entrances are not permitted
Ballet training begins before the first plié.

  • 2. Structure, Focus & Conduct

This is a quiet, focused training environment
No talking unless asking a question related directly to ballet or the material being taught

We are not just teaching ballet, we are shaping individuals who will one day lead, teach, perform, and represent the future of movement.
